Requirements:

  • Own 3 axle tractor that have met DOT requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL

  • Valid DOT Medical Card

  • TWIC needed

  • Tractor-trailer experience – Minimum 1 year driving experience within the last 3 years, and a minimum of 5 years of driving experience with any company, in general.

  • Proof of bobtail/tractor insurance

  • No more than 3 accidents or violations combined in the last 3 years

  • Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen & background check we offer

  • Sign on bonus $1,000.00 (Paid over 90 days)

  • Free tractor parking at 4 different locations (Hauppauge, NY, Newark, NJ, and Maspeth, NY, Jericho, NY)

       Hauppauge Transportation Incorporated, located in Hauppauge, New York, is currently seeking Class A Owner Operator Tractor Drivers to work locally and drayage. This is a Monday – Friday position (Saturdays optional), day shift and you will be home daily.

Class A Owner Operator Tractor Driver

Job Description:

  • Transportation of containers from NY/NJ port authority to warehouse.

  • Manage and oversee truck maintenance.

  • Support warehouse and delivery if needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the inner workings of the port authority.

  • Previous sea link card and Twic card is a plus.

  • Dot medical card. Clean abstract (3 points or less).

  • Drug test will be done. 

  • Experienced, responsible, and reliable.

CDL Class A
​

 

Job Description:

  • Transportation and delivery of goods within NY and to other States such as MD, MA, CT, PA, etc.), with no helper.

  • Must help the customer to move goods from the truck and into their facility.

 

Requirements:

  • Drug test report needed. Must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience.

  • Must reside within or close to Hauppauge, New York.
